Another Summer in the Mountains off to a Great Start

When it starts to get hot in Central Texas I join all the other Texans in the mountains of Colorado. This is my 10th year guiding on the rivers of the vail Valley. After a very rainy and cold May most of the rivers are a little higher than normal for this time of year. Things are just starting to get good though. The dry fly fishing is in full swing on the Eagle River. The Colorado River and the Roaring Fork are still pretty high, but nymphing is putting some fish in the boat on those rivers. I will be here until early August. Look me up if you are headed this way. Here are a few pics from last weeks fishing.
